Data Archiving and Preservation Policies

IJDCR is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of the scholarly record.

Digital preservation strategy

IJDCR ensures that all published content remains accessible even in the event of website disruption, journal migration, or publisher changes. Preservation is achieved through a combination of publisher-managed backups and third-party digital archiving services.

Archiving services

Published articles may be preserved using recognised, non-profit digital repositories, including:

  • Internet Archive: https://archive.org/
  • Zenodo (CERN-supported repository): https://zenodo.org/

These services provide long-term storage, stable access, and metadata preservation.

Version control and integrity

  • The version of record (final published article) is clearly identified on the journal website.
  • Post-publication updates (corrections, retractions, expressions of concern) are transparently linked to the original article.
  • Where Crossmark or similar update indicators are implemented, readers are informed of the current status of an article.

Author self-archiving

Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in repositories in accordance with the journal’s Deposit Policy, supporting redundancy and discoverability.
